To honour World TB Day, observed every year on 24th March, we explore how the STREAM2 trial aims to improve treatment for people with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (TB).
Andrew Nunn, one of the trial’s Chief Investigators, discusses the global burden of TB, how antibiotic resistance can complicate treatment, and how promising results from the STREAM2 trial could help make shorter treatment regimens a reality for people with multidrug-resistant TB.
