Final report of the MRC CTU Centenary Workshop now available

In June, we held a workshop to mark the centenary of the Medical Research Council (MRC). This half-day workshop was attended by representatives from UK patient groups with interests in the major research themes at the MRC CTU, as well as patients and members of the public who have been actively involved in our trials. An integral part of the workshop was the launch of our films about clinical trials.
The workshop aimed to:
- facilitate ongoing and future patient involvement in CTU-led research
- encourage patients and the public to actively contribute to the development of our new studies and our research agenda
- enhance existing links between the MRC CTU and participating organisations and build new relationships
